Craig Powell

The love of art and design, admiration of nature’s forms and processes, and the ability to use construction to control, influence and enhance is what began Craig’s career. A Texas A&M graduate, Craig studied art, architecture and landscape architecture in Italy. It was there, while working in an olive orchard, that the idea of Powell Landscape Architecture was conceived. Craig established Powell Landscape Architecture in 1999 and since amassed impressive experience in site development landscape architecture, planning and urban design.  Craig has had leadership and management roles on projects throughout Central Texas, many being design built.  Craig has been involved in numerous projects through Austin Green Energy Builder Program and city and HOA landscape submittals, meeting code and regulation criteria for all development and redevelopment projects.
